Four, most recently 2004.

Location?
Soho, near Cambridge Circus. A few minutes' walk from Tottenham Court Road or Leicester Square.

Food?
The only word for the food is "amazing". If you are a vegetarian, your choices are limited (in fact you will have to ask) but the food is so good here that you will just like what you are given! An "amuse-bouche" was presented before the starter, and a "pre-pudding" - a miniature version of one of the main deserts - kept us happy between main and desert courses. The style is French - this is a Marco Pierre White restaurant - and the flavour, cooking and presentation simply excellent. For example, I have eaten a starter of asparagus with truffle vinagrette, and main course of risotto with baby vegetables, while my partner has eaten pigeon pie and beef with a lattice of potato and baby vegetables. The assiette gourmand is recommended - a mini version of each of the deserts! Finally the tea was very good, and served with delicious home made petit fours. An experience that will not be forgotten.

Clientele
Businessmen, although I have only eaten in the Picasso Room which was very quiet.

Cost?
£50 per head. Good wines start at £25, ask the wine waiter to recommend something to your taste and in your price range, because the selection is incredible and even wine buffs can try something new!

Anything else?
I have only tried the Picasso Room which is upstairs, full of original Picassos, and slightly more expensive than downstairs. The staff were attentive but not intrusive - although if you want your wine to remain on the table, you will need to ask! The decor was impressive - especially in the bathroom with glass basins and individual towels - and should you place your napkin on the table it is promptly swept up and replaced with tongs! The most notable thing is that nothing went wrong - everything was faultless, which made for a wonderful meal. Allow two to three hours, about eighty pounds each, and then relax!

No disabled access to the Picasso room.

Opening Hours?
Main room - Mon - Fri 1200 to 1430, Mon - Sat 1800 to 2330.
Picasso room - Tue - Fri 1200 to 1430, Tue - Sat 1900 to 2300.
