Number of visits?
One, in April 2002.

Location?
On the South Bank near Waterloo Station. It's a good ten minute walk and a taxi will be more direct if you want to arrive in comfort.

Food?
Classic - with not many options for vegetarians. So the meat eaters get a steak, and the vegetarian gets a tiny tomato tart on a salad of spinach leaves. Oh.. goody. However, the creme brulee desert made up for it! Quite adequate, but nothing special.

Clientele
Mostly theatre goers - also some actors and performers.

Cost?
£30 per head.

Anything else?
The restaurant gets very busy due to the nature of the sittings for pre and post theatre, so booking is advised. Service is slow, so that although the staff know you need to be seated for your show, it was a close call as to whether we had time for desert. Dishes were brought out at roughly the same time for all in the party, but we had to wait a few minutes until everybody had been served.

Opening Hours?
1730 - 2300 (last orders) and 1200 - 1400 (last orders) before matinees.
