The Gorge - Flash Bristow's Website
Stonemason's Arms - 54 Cambridge Grove, London W6

Number of visits?
One - April 2002.

Location?
Hammersmith, a ten minute walk from the station complex.

Food?
This is a "gastro-pub" with above average food. The menu is prepared every day - we ate braised bison, cumberland sausage and mash, and vegetarian sushi. The food was good, although it took a long time to arrive. Desert of sticky toffee pudding was a biscuity cake, with cream and a toffee sauce - very pleasant!

Drinks are also excellent - a wide range of lagers, ales and stouts, with a large selection of bottled drinks. We tried the Blonde lager and various St Peter's Brewery ales.

Clientele
Young vibrant crowd.

Cost?
£15 per head plus drinks.

Anything else?
Staff were a little too busy and the food took a long time to arrive, so allow time to relax. Paintings for sale exhibited on the walls.

Opening Hours?
Pub opening hours, food from 1830.

Official Website?
None.
