I love...

Nine Inch Nails - I just ADORE their music. I've seen them live three times (always from the front, pressed against the rail) and Trent Reznor is a complete dude, what more can I say?

Ferrari - I have followed them in Formula 1 since I was a child, and I can be seen hanging around their stand at the Motor Show every year, and at other events like Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Real Ale - Especially light, hoppy beers like Autumn Glory, or chocolate porters. I look for organic beers which are vegetarian, and I can be found on the news group alt.food+drink.real-ale.

The Tube - In fact I am something of a tube geek, although I would never say "trainspotter"! In 2001 I visited disused underground stations City Road and [the old part of] Angel.

The Internet - I can't live without it; to communicate instantly, publish to the world, buy and sell, and stay informed.

I hate...

Cyclists on the pavement - Pavements are for people. If you're a lousy cyclist or you don't feel safe, please go another way! You are getting in the way and making it hard for me to use the pavement - get off it!

Water - I have an irrational fear of [bodies of] water, so there is no way you will get me into the sea or a swimming pool. I don't feel safe in boats either, and flying over water is also nasty, so I don't go abroad much.

Shopping for clothes - It's awful! People mill around, trying things on and hesitating, whereas I am happiest making a list, grabbing what I want, paying promptly and leaving. Clothes buying is the worst kind of shopping, because you have to browse a bit to make a good choice.

Children - "Hell is other people's children". They should be seen and not heard. They should not be screaming on public transport, wiping mucky hands over things, running around and tripping me up, or needing supervising at [adults'] parties! Get a babysitter and leave them at home!

I am...

Redhead - People say all sorts about redheads. I'm not sure if they are true, but for sure it means I get noticed. Along with my name, it's rare that people forget me once they've met me. Sometimes that's a bonus, sometimes it's the bane of my life!

Vegetarian - I don't eat meat, fish, suet, gelatine, lard or other animal products. I only use free range eggs and I avoid buying leather, except for trainers because veggie trainers let the rain in. Also, I am cutting out cows milk, so I drink soya milk and get my protein from feta, buffalo mozzarella, and humous. It's not that hard, but finding non-cow chocolate is very tricky.

Webmaster - I run lots of sites, but you found this one! As well as my own sites I am also webmaster for SAGE-WISE, because I am their current President. Plus of course, I am employed as a webmaster! I thought that for a change I would create something simple here.
